Retail development in historic areas

Urban Practitioners was appointed by English Heritage, The Planning Advisory Committee and the English Historic Towns Forum, to produce new guidelines for achieving high quality new retail development in historic areas.

The report pools the experience of English Heritage and the retail development industry, drawing on recent advice from the ODPM, CABE, English Historic Towns Forum and others.
